We’re excited to announce that Harrison Freed Holdings, Sunrise Digital Solutions, and Miami Nest Getaways will be transitioning to a four day, 32-hour work week model by January 1, 2025. This forward-thinking policy reflects our commitment to employee wellbeing and work-life balance while maintaining our high standards of productivity and excellence.
The traditional five day, 40-hour work week model has been around for nearly a century. While it was suitable for the industrial age, we believe a new model better serves the modern knowledge economy and our innovative companies. Numerous studies have shown that a shorter work week can boost employee satisfaction, health, and productivity when implemented properly.
Under the new model, our employees will have the flexibility to work four days per week while earning the same salary as the traditional five day schedule. The extra day off allows for more personal time to recharge, pursue hobbies and interests, and achieve better work-life integration. We’re confident that happier, more fulfilled employees will positively impact our business performance.
This transition demonstrates our commitment to challenging antiquated workplace norms and trailblazing new paths. We’re proud to join the ranks of forward-thinking companies like Panasonic, Unilever, Kickstarter and others who have successfully adopted a four day work week.
Of course, implementing such a significant change requires careful planning. Over the next six months, we’ll be engaging employees, adjusting processes, and putting the right infrastructure in place to ensure a smooth transition that preserves our ability to deliver exceptional results for our clients and stakeholders.
We believe this is a vital step in the right direction as we strive to create an exceptional employee experience and lead our industries into the future of work. We’re excited for this journey and looking forward to sharing more updates as our implementation plans progress. Stay tuned!
